Then they would go back and forth haggling until she found the best deal for the product. This was the prevalent practice back in the day and you probably can relate, right? Fast forward to today, things are very different. Consumers’ buying behaviour has changed a lot. The advent of online shopping, review sites, and social media have changed the way consumers approach shopping today.


Despite the fact that consumers can now make purchases from the comfort of their homes, some still prefer to make their purchases offline in stores. However, over 80% of consumers would have done their research online about the product and how much they are likely to spend purchasing it.



A lot of research is being done on the internet not by scientists or academics alone but by consumers too. Some of these consumers even end up buying online. Why is this practice prevalent today? 2 reasons:
